If you're new here, make sure to subscribe to my email updates, and you'll receive my FREE marketing training bootcamp!

Last night my good friend and business partner Brian Fanale and I hosted our weekly MLSP Marketing Webinars, and although we try to typically focus on marketing techniques on these trainings, we felt it was important to go back to the foundational success principles that are at the root of creating a profitable enterprise. In honor of the great Jim Rohn, we shared our stories of struggle, persistence and success and shared with our guests from around the world, the simple things we must be conscious of in order to reach our fullest potential.

You can listen to the full presentation right here.

One of the most influential mentors in my life is undoubtedly one of the greatest business philosophers of all time, Jim Rohn. His simple “down home” concepts and philosophies break down the mysterious idea of success into simple do able habits we can actually use as we develop our emotional and mental fortitude to design a life of our dreams.

Go to work on yourself harder than you work on your job. If you work hard on your job you can make a living, if you work hard on yourself you can make a fortune.” – Jim Rohn

And so my personal development journey began. With a decision and a clear vision of the life I wanted to create for myself and my family.

Everything can change in an instant. 2 years ago, I was broke, in debt, stressed out, on the verge of bankruptcy with a young family to support. Now just 2 years later, I live a life many dream of.  But it was not an overnight success. It was the result of years of personal development and a commitment to myself, to develop my potential.

No matter where you might be on your personal journey, I can not recommend any other teacher more than Jim Rohn himself. I encourage you to visit his website and purchase his Cd’s, Books and DVD’s. Surround yourself with success and fill your days with uplifting and positive thoughts.

Why not see how far you can go, how much you can earn, how much you can share, how much you can give. Why not see what all you could be? What you could become?” – Jim Rohn

Norb…

That was one of the best webinars I’ve heard and truly a great tribute to Jim Rohn…

Also a total reflection of what’s going on in my life. Coincidence? I don’t think so :)

Hey Norbert,

Its “Your favorite marketers, favorite marketer” Stuart L Dennison and I just wanted to let you know I was on that webinar, and I remember you saying how usually (even though that one stayed packed) webinars arent packed when your not giving out the latest new strategy. I truely believe mindset sets apart the 3% from the 97% all day everyday!!!!! Keep up the great work!!

Recently I made a clear decision. I decided to move my personal vibration up at least one level. What you are saying is so true. Words and thoughts have a vibration. They are not neutral. And . . . your personal vibration will depend on what thoughts and words you select (and those you are willing to quickly discard).

Something very painful happened to me at first. I lost the friends I loved the most. They were not willing to move up with me. That killed me; but I have kept going because I know that now I have to. Life is too precious! I can no longer afford to allow others to set my vibration for me. I have decided to take responsibility for that. The rest must be what it will be.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. This is beginning to make sense!

Mark Morton, Ph.D.
