I’m writing this from the airplane, on my way to Dallas to spend 3 days with some of the top personal success coaches in the world at Jeffery Comb’s “More Heart Than Talent” conference. I used to listen to his prospecting and mindset CD’s over and over again in my car, while still struggling in the industry, desperately trying to figure out why success had been so elusive for me for so long. I’ve now seen Jeffery speak live at several events and have even had the honor to host him on one of our MLMLeadSystemPRO Weekly Training Webinars.

But I am really excited for this event. For several reasons.

Over the past 12 months or so, I have to admit that I have not spent a great deal of energy on my personal development. I have been so engaged in my businesses that I have neglected spending real time and focus on my personal development.

This weekend is a phenomenal opportunity, a new starting point so to speak, for the next chapter of success in business and my personal life. An incredible opportunity to re-connect with my purpose and vision.

2008 was a breakthrough year for me. I went from 6 years of struggle in this industry to top producer and now a trainer to thousands in the industry.

But I am ready for the next chapter. In 2009 I am committed to taking this to a whole new level. I know that I have a lot of value to offer this industry, and I know that I can make a positive impact in the lives of many people. My dreams and goals are achieved by helping others achieve their goals and their dreams. And so, 2009 will be a year for me to find new and more effective ways to reach more people in this industry and help more people achieve the results they desire in their business and their personal life.

And what better way to kick of this journey, this year, than a 3 day personal development intensive. The timing is perfect.

I also know that this event will provide for me the necessary contacts and resources that will allow me to achieve these goals. I think this is really THE most valuable aspect of live events such as this one. Yes, the content, the speakers, the information I know will provide me with incredible value, but as a bonus, I also know that I will meet some incredible people, and increase my personal network. This has been true of EVERY live event I have ever attended. At every event I have met someone who has in one way or another assisted me in my journey.

I am excited for the new contacts I will make and the new heights they will lead me. It truly is magical when you move confidently in the direction of your dreams. Everything supports you along your path, and you can not fail.
