Last night my good friend and business partner Brian Fanale and I hosted our weekly MLSP Marketing Webinars, and although we try to typically focus on marketing techniques on these trainings, we felt it was important to go back to the foundational success principles that are at the root of creating a profitable enterprise. In honor of the great Jim Rohn, we shared our stories of struggle, persistence and success and shared with our guests from around the world, the simple things we must be conscious of in order to reach our fullest potential.

One of the most influential mentors in my life is undoubtedly one of the greatest busines philosophers of all time, Jim Rohn. His simple “down home” concepts and philosophies break down the mysterious idea of success into simple do able habits we can actually use as we develop our emotional and mental fortitude to design a life of our dreams.

And so my personal development journey began. With a decision and a clear vision of the life I wanted to create for myself and my family.

Everything can change in an instant. 2 years ago, I was broke, in debt, stressed out, on the verge of bankruptcy with a young family to support. Now just 2 years later, I live a life many dream of.  But it was not an overnight success. It was the result of years of personal development and a commitment to myself, to develop my potential.

I met Jim less than one year ago. He’s been in network marketing since the age of 18, chasing after students at college campuses trying to recruit them into his deals. I started working with him on internet marketing strategies and within a few months he had his first 5 figure month.

He is now a respected trainer in the industry, teaching struggling networkers the fundamentals of successful online marketing. He simple made a commitment to become a master marketer and increased his value to the marketplace. Now he is sought after as a leader and mentor at the young age of 22.

Happy Birthday to US!!

MLMLeadSystemPRO turns ONE Year old this month! And to celebrate our first birthday we decided to give away a brand new BMW 335i Coupe!

I’m a bit of a car guy myself, and I have always dreamed of owning a BMW. Well, just last Christmas my goal of driving a BMW came true when my wife and I purchase a brand new BMW X5 SUV for our family. Ok this is pretty cool.

You know running your own online business from home and making tons of money is pretty cool. But money is just money. The really cool thing is being able to take part in cool projects, and give back to our communities in a positive way.

So a couple of days ago, my good friend and mentor Aaron, told me about an awesome idea he had to support his wife’s project while at the same time doing some good on this earth.

Aaron’s wife Liz has created a series of personal development books for kids.

Liz felt that the most important thing she could do was help parents develop strong, successful, empowered children. She felt that if they started learning the secrets at a young age our children could have an advantage that most of us never did.

I’m flying home from an incredible 3 days in Dallas at the More Heart Than Talent conference. We had the privilege of learning from some of the top entrepreneurs and personal development coaches in the world.

I’m writing this from the airplane, on my way to Dallas to spend 3 days with some of the top personal success coaches in the world at Jeffery Comb’s “More Heart Than Talent” conference. I used to listen to his prospecting and mindset CD’s over and over again in my car, while still struggling in the industry, desperately trying to figure out why success had been so elusive for me for so long. I’ve now seen Jeffery speak live at several events and have even had the honor to host him on one of our MLMLeadSystemPRO Weekly Training Webinars.

Just last week I was invited to a hockey game, to go see the Canucks play the Philadelphia Flyers in Vancouver. That’s pretty cool. But this was more than just a hockey game. You see I was invited to the game by one of my marketing mentors, who has now become a good friend. He secured a penthouse box suite for his friends and I was invited to join them along with my wife.

The game was awesome even though the Canucks lost. But thats not the point anyways. The really incredible thing was that I had the opportunity to hang out with some of the top marketers and entrepreneurs I know. You can’t put a price on that.

Its a new year and what a better time to start my new blog. It’s been my intention to get a new blog going and commit to blogging for 2009. We all know how powerful having your own blog can be when used in conjunction with other marketing strategies especially all the popular social networking websites.
